Monster Madness

This all started innocently enough with my sons' bedding. I bought them matching Monster bedding since they share a room and I had to find some middle of the road theme that they both liked. I then accidentally went down the canvas aisle at Michael's and got a crazy idea to paint them some monsters for their walls to match. So I did 4 12x12 canvases in crazy colors and found the 2 monster bins at Target this week. And now, after everyone has been asking me to paint them other themed wall hangings, my best friend Beth has convinced me to open an etsy store, painting these silly things. She even came up with the name for me.... "Silly Strokes". How creative is she? So I will be posting some more info as my shop opens but I thought you might enjoy the story behind it first.

So here are my canvases... without further ado.
Meet Quigley:
Mason named this guy Randy (I think after Randall from Monsters Inc.):
This red guy is Harry.... since he is kinda hairy:
And last but not least, this is Lugo. A big,friendly oaf that only looks scary:
