To dress Molly up...or not to dress....

It all started with this costume... Molly as Yoda? Swwwweeeeeet!

Then it led to this funny costume.... plus the dog kinda looks like Molls....
Then it was allllll downhill from there.... I found a poor dog dressed like Freddie Kruger...
Then I came upon this poor thing... And then.... then.... this pathetic little caterpillar popped up on my screen. This is somehow become a new favorite Halloween pastime for me....
I think I will leave Molly be for this year.... or should I embarrass her?

More Estes Park in the Fall

Beeeeeeyoutiful Estes Park. It has fast become one of our favorite places here in Colorado..
Nothing like letting the boys run crazy in nature and watching the fall colors happen before your eyes!!
Mason is a whittling fool....
The end product.... some type of weapon, I am sure....
We went up with the lovely Martin family.... always so much fun to be around....
And Grandma Donna came along for the ride. She loved it up there!!
Here is Beau, in all of his sweetness. :)
Little curious Derek.... he was kinda camera shy with me...More of MR. Camera Shy himself... :)
The boys.... together... and NOT fighting for a change!!
A sweet bird that kept coming to visit us by the stream. A very tired elk with one of his antlers already gone from all the fighting. The boys at play...
Daddy and little Bear Bear...
Chad and the boys having fun on the Rainbow slide....
Sweet, beautiful Tiffany with her little man....
And here is Tiff and I at Hayley's... a super yummy candy and ice cream shop!!

And that's it for now....

Trafton gets to hang with Kyle Orton!

Lucky Trafton.... he was part of a skeet shoot fundraiser involving the Broncos and a lot of Colorado gunslingers. He was lucky enough to hang out with the bronco's QB, Kyle Orton and his sweet wife, all day. Traf said the guys were just the coolest, most down to earth people!! Another reason I love pro athletes that take the time for a good cause.

Here is Russ Hochstein (Guard) #71 and Kyle Orton (QB) #8 and Trafton (Husband) #1... ;)

Kyle taking a couple of skeets down in the tournament.

And the football that was graciously signed by many of the players. Wanna hear something funny? Landon picked up the ball and was looking at the names.... uncapped a Sharpie and started signing away on the ball!! :D Luckily, Trafton caught him while he was only on "L" and managed to wipe off most of it.... I thought this was hilarious.... I think I was the only one though.....What can I say? My boy thinks he belongs on there too!! :)

The Rockies vs. The Dodgers

What is a girl to do? I grew up with the Dodgers as my home team and now we are in Colorado cheering on the Rockies. I guess the outcome was good... Dodgers beat us in the 9th and it was an exciting game. Here was where we sat. The tickets were great and the food was lousy.... typical for a ball game, right?

Here is Trace, Mason and Landon at their first ever Colorado Rockies game... They had so much fun and you can tell who THEY were going for!!

Here are my adorable niece and nephew, Ashley and Ryan, meeting Ted Lilly of the Dodgers. He managed to smoke our Colorado boys pretty badly in the finale.
And of course.... Mr. Matt Kemp with Ash and Ryan... He is Ashley's favorite player, can you tell? My sister in-law said he was SOOOOO nice and sweet to the kids. I love pro athletes like this!! He hit a home run against the Rockies at the game we went to.... HAD to call my niece to see if she was watching!! She was!!
So final tally was Rockies 1 game and the Dodgers 3..... Go BLUE!! OK.... guess I have to stick to my roots!! :)

So excited!!

To finally share this with everyone. Most of you have seen the monster canvases I did for the boys' room and they were picked up by Simply Handmade for their "On the Wall" section. They asked if they could make templates of my little guys so that everyone would be able to create their own little monster projects.... so.... check out what Katelynn did with one of my little creations:
MY MONSTERS!!

I LoVe this album!

I have to say, I think I love this ENTIRE album. She is such a sweet singer and the lyrics will make you fall in love again with your husband of 10 years!! She reminds me of an indie-esque Jewel with such sweet, lovely lyrics. Very relaxing and one of the best albums I have bought lately. She has a free download for you and you can click on previews of her latest album. I highly recommend her!! :)

School Pictures

Here is Landon and his official kindergarten school picture. He loved his big boy hair (I am thinking it was the gel that sealed the deal) and the Tony Hawk button down he wore. He is doing great at school and has MANY best friends.... almost a new one each day. :)
And here is our big 3rd grader Mason. Notice gel and "Tom Cruise" hair. Not sure the fascination with Tom Cruise but he was playing in his VERY nice suit jacket....OUTSIDE... the other day and said he was Tom. Maybe Mission Impossible? Who knows. Again, Mason is doing great and is every one's friend. So nice to see that he gets along with everyone and people always want to be around him. He just loves his buddies.... boys and girls alike!! I love that about him!!

Be back soon... not much time lately since Traf was gone for 4 weekends in a row hunting. I am a bit stir crazy but it is all part of the game, right?
