Here is another beach layout that I just completed as well. I made a mix of "sand" to give it texture in lots of places. I really wanted to emphasize the sandiness of the pictures since that was the focus of the page. The mix was pearl glaze, Mod Podge and sand. Let's hope it is all archival safe! ;) I added this mix to the picture, covered the starfish, "buried" one of the pictures and added it to the title. I also handpainted this layout in a couple of different spots including the journaling. And thanks to Shawn.... I now have a typo to fix....LOL... hate those things!!!

GREAT sand mixture! Does it rub off at all when you are sliding it in and out of your page protectors? or is it hard?
