Pumpkin Patch at Heritage Park

The gang.... minus two.

Landon found a pumpkin he liked!

A little pot bellied piggy named Dexter.

THREE day old baby chickies. The STICK man.... he finds at least 2 or 3 wherever we manage to go....

Well, it's that time of year again... pumpkin patches, carving, candy and ENDLESS things to remember for school. Does it EVER EVER end? GEESH! Anyways... we had a great time with Landon's school. Here are just a few shots of the morning. Hope you are all less busy than me!!

I love Kelly Goree's style...

So this is a complete and utter scraplift of her "2 Pumpkins" layout (see it here: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/95083/view/1752907/-1/0/1.html ) . I love the Ambrosia line and thought it suited this pics of Landon and Mason perfectly! Hope you like what I did with it... it is only mildly tweaked though. :)

Stinky.... but fun!

We had a field trip the other day to Amy's Farm. It is a great little family farm about 25 minutes from our house... who knew, right? The kids had a great time! They got to feed the pigs and a calves, go into the petting zoo, meet a 2000 lbs. cow and pick out a pumpkin. Very fun .... LOTS of flies...ewww... and a bit stinky.... but all in all a great day!! Thanks Amy!! And I have officially decided that I am SOOOOO a CITY girl.... no farm life for me! It's seems fun for about 20 minutes.... then I crave a good shopping spree with lots of stores and drive thrus around me....LOL!

Hope this finds you all well!

MORE Font fun

I know you girls are big font lovers….especially those who have Pazzles…. but these fonts are great even for the old school printers since they are so stinkin’ cute. I use these fonts for the preschool books I do…. great for titles and such. The Halloween fonts and clip art (digital elements as well) are all $1 through Sunday. Spend $10 and you get the free Fall doodle package as well. Just a heads up.

Santee Lakes

And here is one heck of a slimy, icky catfish... mot my FAVORITE fish to catch... glad it was Mike and not me!!

Just outside of San Diego, is a wonderful little campsite at Santee Lakes. They've got great fishing, playgrounds and lots of space for the kids to roam and have fun. Here are some pics from our very fun weekend stay down there. It was soooo relaxing!! Enjoy!

Special BEADS just for ME!!

***sigh*** Aren't they just extraordinarily DREAMY??! For those who know me... these are my all time favorite colors. So yummy and fun and playful and happy! One of my favorite color combos to scrap with is turquoise, pink and red.....so I sent this layout:
to my sweet, oh-so-talented, thoughtful, dear friend and genius beadmaker, Angela.... and she made them for me!!!! Never mind that they are hard colors to work with and don't like to play well with each other (the glass, that is) ... but she took time out of her BUSY schedule for little ol' me!! So thank you Angela for sharing your talent yet AGAIN with me and for making me my favorite set of beads EVER!! You are the best!!

A Halloween Layout for you!

Since it is FINALLY October... my favorite month and season, I look forward to sharing some Halloween creations with you! This first layout was of Landon about 2 years ago... it was his second Halloween and he was our Itsy Bitsy Spider. He was ADORABLE!!

Anyways.... there is lots of fun stuff here but my favorite thing is the handmade spider. It is made with wire and beads and I added a large brad (for the body) and 2 heart shaped brads for the "hourglass" on the black widow. Hope you enjoy it!!

TWO goals=

ONE HAPPY, EXCITED boy! So today, Mason scored his first goal EVER.... then quickly followed it with his SECOND goal ever!! He really starts out with a bang! We are just SO proud of him... it is night and day from last year!! He played an awesome game all over the field... goalie, mid field, offense, defense... you name it!! Look how hard he goes for it!! WAY TO GO BABY!!
