You can actually blame this girl: Chance for luring me over to this awesome site.... where I will now have to spend lots of money.... Thanks Chance... I knew you were in my life for lots of reasons!! :) So I came across this new trend in scrapbooking called Washi tape.... such great little designs for some very quick and easy decorations... This is what Washi tape looks like:
And it just HAS TO come in polka dots and stripes.....
In several different colors......
And HAPPENS to be fairly affordable... easy to store.... can this count for household items since it is tape? See? It fits in the budget too!!
And check out these cute decorations that wouldn't take very long to create.... 
I just love these little buntings/banners.... so there ya go.... more enabling for the weak (like me).

Washi tape really is so much fun to use! It's one of those great materials that seems to inspire people.
