A visit with Santa

Every year, Santa comes to my sister in law's house.... MAGICALLY... and we have such a great time. We get together and play for a bit.... usually with a little fake snow and lots of sugar... and we wait until we hear the magical bells ring. He always has a helper with him and he spends a lot of time with the kids. My niece and nephew did a great job... Ryan fiddled with his fur a bit... so cute! And Landon told him all about the swords, skateboards and guns he wanted.... Ummm... kinda scary.... at least he didn't ask for anthrax and a grenade.... right? Mason informed him that he wanted ALL Star Wars.... preferably a Star Wars Lego Gunship (ahem...retailing for a mere $120 at most stores) and it ONLY has a million pieces to assemble! This was AFTER he told Santa all the other Star Wars things that he NEEDS.... So it will be interesting to see what is under the tree!! Anyways.... talk to ya soon and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Christmas Programs

The boys did SO good in their Christmas programs! I was kind of worried that Landon wouldn't stay up there but he ended up being one of the loudest (and cutest) ones! They sang 4 songs and 2 poems. It was awesome!!

Mason sang Jingle Bell Rock and Jolly Old St. Nicholas. And get this.... HE DANCED... seriously!! Danced in front of a whole auditorium. I was speechless!! They did so good! I am so glad that they are coming out of their shyness on stage!!

I will get to posting after the crazy times but hope all is well with you guys. The boys and I are off to make a gingerbread house right now!! OH! And go check out the Queen & Co. blog.... my best friend Beth is in the SPOTLIGHT!! Congrats!

Busy busy busy....

OK... between Christmas programs, wrapping gifts, taking pictures, sending cards, shopping and baking... I haven't had time to breathe. I have been making gifts and recovering... and 4 scrappy projects that I was going to show you guys were ALL picked up by magazines!! MAN OH MAN!! So that is some good news (Memory Makers x2, Scrapbook Trends and Cards...FUN FUN FUN!). So I will try to get more done to put up here!! K? This was my attempt at a digital Christmas card this year. Hope I did OK... was my first try and I had a ton of help from a free kit from online. :)
So..... Hope you are all HALF as busy as me and THANK YOU all for the gorgeous/FUN/Special Christmas cards and gifts that I have been getting from all of you in the mail! I feel so loved and blessed to have so many awesome friends and family in my life!!

Hellllo!!

Hello everyone! I am slowly recovering this past week. Thank you all for your get well wishes and support. You guys are sooooo sweet. :) I think recovery is always slower than yo actually think it will be. So thanks again.

I seriously can't believe it is December 11th already!! 2 weeks until Christmas!?!?! Are you all done with your shopping? I just have to get my Christmas cards out and mail off a few packages to our families who live too far away. We miss them all!

Anyways.... may have to post some scrappy wish list here soon. Have you SEEN the new Basic Grey Bittersweet collection? And I also think I may need to have a giveaway soon.... I am in the mood to give... and give some more... so stay tuned... by for now!!

Finding Me LO

This was such a quick LO I did.... those cluster of flowers are by Prima and they all come layered like that. It literally took me less than 30 minutes for this one..... pretty impressive for the way I scrap. The stamps are a set by BoBunny. Gotta get them!

Anyways, hope you are all recovering from your holiday weekend nicely! Mason and I had the flu all weekend so we were down for the count....but feeling human today. We are gearing up for a quick getaway to Arizona to spend some time with our BFFs Brent and Wendy..... MINUS kids.... I can't WAIT!!

Anyways.... happy December! I am off to get some shopping done that I couldn't do this weekend!

Little Miss Independent

This was actually one of my Memory Makers Masters' entries... they didn't like me this year but I ended up loving my layouts I did for it. So this one is of Miss Adele.... Shawn's super cute daughter. The theme was built around her green and white polka dot high tops... so I tied in lots of green and white polka dots...LOL

I also modPodged tissue paper in the background for some added texture to the layout. Hope you like it more than the magazine did. :)

Eat 'til you can't eat no mo'! Have a safe holiday weekend and remember to tell your loved ones how thankful you are!! I am thankful that I have so many great friends and family, Mason's eyes are 20/20 for the first time in his life, that Trafton has a great job, that I can stay at home with my boys and that my family all have their health!!

Got Dirt?

Thought I would share an old layout I did with Mason riding in the desert. He was doing donuts here and was about 4 years old at the time. What a crazy little guy, huh?

Occotillo Wells was a blast!! Great friends, great rides, great times! No injuries and lots of great memories made!! We all had a blast.... Mason did awesome in his new gear and Landon couldn't get enough of riding with his Daddy. Lots of friends came out for the day as well and we just didn't want to leave!! Thanks guys!
