This was the day before our snow day. Mason was amazed at how bright and huge this rainbow was in our backyard!!

First snow day!!

I am still having a hard time believing that it is only SEPTEMBER here and we have snow already!! It is absolutely gorgeous though!!! Makes me just want to curl up on the couch with a good book and some coffee!!

Some scrappy stuff

I originally started out this blog for all of the scrapbooking news that I had to share but it has slowly grown into a family blog. So here are a few scrappy projects that I did as a guest designer in August for the super talented Elle's Studios . <>>I have tons of new product to use and a SPOOKY treat to post soon.

As soon as my scrap room gets done (I PROMISE AMY!!!) I will post pictures. We are looking at end of October though.... close.... but so far!!

They have the best deal on flowers. Makes buying a big bunch of them cheap and fun!!

Monkeyin' around...

Our very sweet friends, Julia and Hugo (and adorable kids Clarissa and Aaron) live in Colorado Springs. So we have gotten together with them a couple of times and have had a blast each time. I look forward to hanging out with them in the future.So Friday night, they came with their arms full of gifts!! The kids LOVED these!! They can't wait for hot chocolate season!! Aren't they adorable?? They have a few other animals as well at Pier One, however, the monkeys are Super appropriate for the boys!!

And last but CERTAINLY not LEAST...a VERRRRRRRY Happy Birthday today to one one my bestest friends in the world!!! I love you Beth! Thanks for the endless laughter, love and support over the last few years!! I am sooooo lucky that you are in my life!! Have a great day!! You deserve it!

A bit obsessed lately...

with baking and cupcakes. The thing I have to master now is how to bake in high altitudes. Some things have been pretty while other things I have made were kinds flat. So I promise to post some pictures of the pretty ones once I master it. I can't wait til Tiffany comes in October....she is a master baker/decorator and I am going to bribe her to show me the ropes!

Some birthday favorites

Here's Landon talking to his Grandparents in California!!

I am guessing that he REEEEEAAAAALLLLLY likes this shirt! His favorite gift was this GI JOE gun from the Pool family.... he has slept with it since he has opened it!!

This is just Landon enjoying the center of attention and goofing it up!The very happy and satisfied birthday boy..... I still can't believe he is FOUR!!

At least he still kisses me.... Mason is almost at the point where he won't. So sad!

And a baaaaaaaaby grasshopper was born on Landon' bday.... he named it Candle. Go figure!

I really enjoyed this birthday with Landon. He wasn't shy at all and really let his personality shine through. He was a goofball the whole time and he reaaaaally enjoyed it this year. We had a great time with the Pool and Dewey family too!! Thanks for a memorable day guys!!

Landon is officially FOUR!!

As crazy as it seems to us, Mr. Landon is officially 4 today!! He was out doing big boy tricks on his scooter and has been telling me all day that he is no longer my baby.... but my BIG BOY. Say it ain't so!!! We are going to have some cake and ice cream right now with our friends and neighbors so I will be back tomorrow with some bday cake pictures!! We miss you all.... we wish you were here with us celebrating!!!
