He turns 10 today....

At 10 years old, Mason Trafton Hayne is a very interesting little man. He is a friend to everyone and is excelling in 4th grade. He is top of his class and is his favorite subject is math and recess. He still loves his Legos and is currently obsessed with money and earning a "big stack" of it. He is silly and funny and ever so active. He is helping me cope with the cost of his baseball career by being a very well rounded ball player. He is playing travel ball and we look forward to watching him in the tournaments and upcoming season. He also played tackle football this past fall and reaaaaaalllly had fun with it. They called him "The Hammer" because he had quite the aggressive tackle on both offense and defense. He managed to kick his candy cigarette habit back when he was 4 (phew) and still loves all sorts of animals still. Molly is his beeeeest friend and he treats her so good. He will still (knock on wood) let me cuddle with him at night and is not embarrassed of his parents **YET**. I just overheard him tell some girls that he has the coolest mom... **sigh** I will indeed take it where I can get it!! :) He is a good friend and a good brother. He is helping coach Landon's 6 year old team and still cracks up daily with Landon. They are very good friends but he is starting to get into the pre-teen thing where he needs his space a little.... BOOOOO! He loves shrimp, mac n cheese, hamburgers pizza and ice cream is his vice. He is a helpful, smart little guy that is always looking to collect one thing or another. That has not changed in all these years... I fear that he may have a hoarder gene in him somewhere. AGH! So ignore my pulling the photos out of the archives but I just can't believe that my little man is in his double digits!!! Pretty amazing... I am so proud of you MAS!! We love you!
XO,
Mommy

I can't believe how much both of the boys have grown. I see that you are enjoying the move, but we will always miss you back here in California. Hope that they have some great scrapbook stores for you.
